Macjournal vs day one4/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Supports 10.6. I'm excited about this next chapter of MacJournal and about the new release! Previous Versions 7.3.1 This app is much more free-form than structured apps like Friday or the Five Minute Journal it's a bit more like an open-ended digital diary. I will try to get back to everyone that writes, but there could be some delays so I thank everyone for their patience in advance. Day One is a personal journaling app that is available across the entire iOS ecosystem (including iPads and a Mac app) and Android. And finally, since support will also be back to a single person, support via email will be constrained. Prior versions running on systems that can support version 7 will see an automatic update later this week. Third, there is a new version out today! You can see details for version 7 on this site and download the release now. Secondly, MacJournal will be distributed for free, just as it was when it got started almost 18 years ago. ![]() The versions on the various App Stores will be removed as current App Store rules do not allow us to transfer them. After a long and productive relationship with Mariner Software, MacJournal is returning home to be distributed here by its original developer. A message about the transition from Mariner Software We are looking into getting the iOS app back on the App Store with syncing functionality intact. MacJournal 7 is available in English and Danish. New updates will generally support the current macOS version plus the previous version at the time. MacJournal 7 requires macOS 10.14.4 Mojave. Limited support is available via email and the Help menu inside MacJournal. MacJournal 7 is free to download and use.
